Flavorwave is perfect for grilling and  marinating meats or fish. The best part about the flavorwave is using spices  and exotic curries to change things up in your cooking regime. This recipe is quick and easy and will leaving you dreaming of another world across the ocean.

Quick Tip:  Marinating meats with a cup of plain  yogurt is a must, yogurt keeps all the spices together and keeps the meat moist and tender, same goes for shrimp!

You will need,

  • 24 large shrimp, clean and unshelled,
  • ½ cup of plain yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon of ginger paste,
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic paste
  • 1 teaspoon of chili powder, or more if you prefer
  • salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon of tumeric
  • 1 teaspoon of coriander

Directions
1) Mix all the ingredients together after shelling and cleaning the shrimp and set aside to marinate for 20 minutes.
2) Take each shrimp and thread them on  bamboo skewers.
3) Place shrimp on the 4’ rack  and brush with leftover marinade
4) Turn the flavorwave on high for about 2-3 minutes on each side until shrimp looks pink and juicy. Shrimp is properly cooked with the color has gone from gray to pink completely. Serve at room temperature.
